Deluxe Inn

We stopped here for the night before hiking into Havasupai Valley to spend a few nights there. Great little town. Hotel and nights rest was perfect for pre-hike. Check out the cool town though!

The Deluxe Inn is a time capsule, and that's exactly why we chose to stay here. This isn’t a chain hotel with a continental breakfast and a pool. It’s a slice of Route 66 history, right in the heart of one of the most iconic towns on the road. The rooms are simple, spotless, and surprisingly comfortable — the bed gave us a great night’s sleep, and everything was impeccably clean. You can tell the owners care deeply about this place. Yes, it’s “no frills” — but that’s what makes it so special. You’re not paying for extras you won’t use. You’re paying for location, nostalgia, and the rare feeling of stepping back into a slower, more genuine time. From the neon signs outside to the friendly check-in, everything about our stay felt authentic. Some of the lower star reviews seem to miss the point. This is not a resort — it’s a road trip stop for people who appreciate history, character, and good old-fashioned hospitality. For us, Deluxe Inn was a highlight of our trip, and we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Check in a motel is at 3:00 on the DOT check-in was good they worked with us get us a different room and it was quite nice. The staff works with you all the time you're there. What else can I say try it and you'll like it take a trip to Route 66. Stay at the Deluxe Inn Motel you won't regret it. Peace out

Cheap, no frills motel. Clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the rooms did not smell weird. Pleasant breakfast nook with coffee. Prompt and friendly service. Location was great, very authentic old school vibes. Will return on road trips.

This was a place that took us back in time by looks, but the amenities were top notch. Everything we needed was right in the room! Clean, microwave, air, refrigerator, internet and many channels on the TV. Many people probably wouldn't stop here, But we're so glad we did. Route 66 throwback

Dog friendly!! We stopped for the night. Had made reservations ahead of time. Check in was easy, room was clean, mattress encasements on each bed. The only issue and reason for 4 stars is the flooring. It was very slippery for our big dog she ended up spread eagle a few times so we did not get much sleep. My husband had taken his shoes off and slipped walking across the floor. I understand the vinyl flooring is for accessibility and easy to clean after animals…just a heads up.

Almost perfect! Room was a delight. ONLY complaints were a squeaky door and poor water pressure. Beyond those minor issues, it was fantastic!!

We loved stopping in Seligman! We were able to check in late which was nice, and the receptionist gave us lovely recommendations in town for souvenirs, photos, and food! Water pressure was great, room was clean on arrival, and the AC was much appreciated. However, when morning rolled around, we noticed that ants had entered the room/my SD's food bowl. This was minimal after twelve hours of the food being down, and we only noticed on our way out, but still of note. Overall would stay again!
